Nearly New has a New Donation Policy
Due to the fact that our back room has very limited space, we will no longer accept donations in large, black, plastic garbage bags. We will accept donations in boxes and grocery size paper bags. We ask that clothing items be neatly folded. (Please see the note on the bottom of this page to see our standards for clothing and household items.) This change is also necessary because organizations who have picked up items that are not suitable for our store in the past, have changed their policies for pick up as well.
Donations are accepted at our back door
Tuesday – Friday 10:00-2:00
Please note that we are typically closed for donations the last week of every month.
We appreciate all “nearly new”, as opposed to “mostly old” donations. We are an upscale resale shop, and as such, we do not accept soiled, torn, broken or defective items.
We can take men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, household items, collectibles, kitchenware, jewelry, art, books, toys and gift items.
There are some items we cannot accept and these include:
Magazines older than 6 months
Baby or sports equipment
Non-functioning kitchen appliances
Large furniture and appliances
We are a 501 © 3 non-profit corporation and can give you a receipt for your donations.
Your donations turn into dollars for women's education.
